AWANA is a fun weekly ministry, where children can come and learn about God, that He loves them, and how He has expressed that love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The kids also learn how God can help them in their daily lives. The goal of AWANA is to give boys and girls the chance to know, love and serve God.
There are four segments to keep the kids excited and learning at every club meeting.
Opening Time
Children and Leaders gather together for our opening ceremony, singing, announcements, and awards during this time.
Game Time
The children play games around our game circle and learn teamwork and sportsmanship while they engage in active, friendly competition.
Handbook Time
Each Child gets the opportunity to work one on one with a leader to complete the assignments within their handbooks. AWANA emphasizes on memorizing and knowing key Bible verses that will teach the children how to know and follow God.
Council Time
Children listen and learn as leaders present a Bible message to them during council time.
